Festival guides
We cover festivals where you'll need to stay overnight and there's a real travel problem to solve. Festivals that include camping in the ticket aren't listed, because there's nothing to work out.

Two of these are the same trip
Wonderfruit and Tomorrowland Thailand run four days apart in the same district of Chonburi — roughly 175,000 festival visits in eleven days, with a Thai public holiday on the day one ends and another the day before the other begins. Coverage of each festival rarely mentions the other.
And that's only half of it. Big Mountain Village runs 12–13 December in Khao Yai — the same weekend as Tomorrowland, in a different province — and EDC Thailand follows on 18–20 December in Phuket. Four festivals, three provinces, nineteen days, with two public holidays and a long weekend in the middle.
Wonderfruit
The gates close at midnight and don't reopen until eight, so staying in a hotel means missing every sunrise — and that decides where you should stay.

Tomorrowland Thailand
A hundred and fifty thousand tickets sold in under an hour, no camping, and the hotel packages sold out too. Four days after Wonderfruit, in the same district.
