Where to stay for the Philippine Arena

BTS play the Philippine Sports Stadium on 13, 14 and 16 March 2027, and Bruno Mars plays the Philippine Arena next door on 15, 16 and 18 May. Both are in Bulacan, north of Manila: about 22 km by road from Quezon City and 36 km from Makati. There's no train, and nearly nothing to book around the venues. The simplest way there and back is the promoter's shuttle.

The short answer

Stay at Vertis North in Quezon City and take the promoter's shuttle. For past Live Nation shows here it picked up there and brought you back after the show. Seda Vertis North and Solaire Resort North are a four-minute walk from the pickup, and both have a 24-hour desk.

Flying in? Mall of Asia was the other pickup, close to the airport, but it's the longest ride back.

Don't expect a hotel near the arena. The nearest listings are private resorts, villas and condo units. And Makati, where most visitors stay, wasn't a pickup for past shows.

What time does it finish?

Not published. No finish time is published for shows here. What matters more is leaving: attendees report two hours or more just to get out of the grounds — see “Things that will catch you out” below.

Before you book: the shuttle isn't announced yet

For earlier shows, Live Nation Philippines sold shuttle seats separately, through SM Tickets, to concert ticket holders only: ₱450 return from Vertis North and ₱600 from Mall of Asia, round trips only. The buses back waited in the NLET parking area after the show.

The shuttles for BTS and Bruno Mars haven't been announced. Book a room you can cancel near one of the past pickups, and watch Live Nation Philippines for the details.

Getting back after the show

There's no rail to the venues. A commuter line is being built past Bocaue, but the transport department says only that part of it opens sometime in 2027. It won't help in March.

Everyone leaves through two exits. Philippine motoring and entertainment guides describe the complex as having only two ways in and out. Attendees have reported at least two hours just to get out of the grounds — that's what fans report, not something we timed. For recent concerts the expressway operator, NLEX, issued heavy-traffic advisories.

So the shuttle is usually the easiest way back. It waits for the show to end, it drops you at a hotel district, and a car has to use the same two exits.

By taxi or ride app

  • Grab. The main ride app in Manila. Fares are regulated, but a pickup fee and surge pricing apply on top.
  • Taxis. Metered city taxis. Book through Grab if you can, so the fare is shown before you ride.

Where pickups happen: We couldn't find a published Grab or taxi pickup point at the arena or the stadium. A 2023 guide said Grab doesn't serve the arena at all; if you book one, agree a meeting point with your driver and expect to wait.

Worked from the LTFRB fare matrix for a Grab-type sedan — ₱65 flag-down (from 19 March 2026), ₱15 a kilometre and ₱2 a minute — on road distances we measured, at clear-road driving times. Every extra hour in traffic adds about ₱120. Not included: expressway tolls, the pickup fee (₱26–₱130 for a sedan), and surge pricing, which the LTFRB caps at no more than the distance and time charges again.

  • The shuttle fares for past shows were ₱450 and ₱600 return. A one-way car to the same places costs about the same or more before traffic, tolls and surge.
  • Everyone leaves through the same two exits, so a car doesn't get you out of the grounds faster than the shuttle.

Places to stay

Every hotel below lists a 24-hour front desk on Booking.com, which matters when the shuttle gets you back late at night. The first five are near the Vertis North pickup; the walking times are routes we measured.

Around the arena itself, a Booking.com search sorted by distance turns up a private resort, a villa, condo units and coworking spaces. The nearest listing with a 24-hour desk is a condo 4.6 km away, and the nearest hotels with one are in Novaliches and Fairview, about 12 km off.

Fairview distances are Booking.com's straight-line figures. Mall of Asia walks are to the mall; the past pickup was at its south terminal.

Each area in more detail

Vertis North, Quezon City — Beside the shuttle

Suits: Most people travelling in for the show, and anyone who wants the shuttle to drop them a few minutes' walk from their room.

Getting there: About 22 km by road from the arena, 27 minutes on clear roads — far longer on a show night. For past Live Nation shows the shuttle picked up here, in the open area across from H&M at Vertis North: ₱450 return, ticket holders only.

A new district of malls and hotels at the north end of Metro Manila, next to North Avenue station on the MRT.

The trade-off: The two hotels next to the pickup are five-star and price like it. The cheaper hotels with a 24-hour desk are one to three kilometres away, a short taxi at night.

Mall of Asia, Pasay — The other shuttle stop, near the airport

Suits: People flying in and out, or combining the show with a few days in the city.

Getting there: About 39 km by road from the arena, 42 minutes on clear roads — the longest ride on this page. The other pickup for past Live Nation shows, at the mall's south terminal across from the MOA Arena: ₱600 return, ticket holders only.

Manila Bay, the Mall of Asia complex and big hotels, close to the airport.

The trade-off: It's the furthest of the pickups from the arena, so the ride back takes longest. If you miss the shuttle, a car from here costs the most.

Near the arena: Bocaue, Marilao and Santa Maria — Close, but almost no hotels

Suits: Groups renting a house or resort together, who have their own car or driver.

Getting there: Two to five kilometres from the arena. Tricycles and cars. There's no shuttle to book, and the grounds' two exits are the same for everyone.

Towns along the expressway, with private resorts, villas and condo units for rent rather than hotels.

The trade-off: On Booking.com, the nearest listing with a 24-hour front desk is a condo unit 4.6 km away; the nearest hotels with one are about 12 km away. If you book one, arrange late check-in with the host before you pay.

Novaliches and Fairview, north Quezon City — Nearest hotels, no shuttle

Suits: People with a car, or who'd rather a shorter taxi ride than the shuttle.

Getting there: About 12–13 km from the arena in a straight line. Taxi or Grab only. The past shuttles didn't stop here.

Residential north Quezon City, with budget and business hotels.

The trade-off: You're relying on getting a car out of the grounds after the show, which is the hardest part of the night.

Makati and BGC — Where most visitors stay — far on the night

Suits: People who already have a room there — take a car or taxi to Vertis North for the shuttle.

Getting there: About 36 km (Makati) and 39 km (BGC) by road from the arena. No shuttle pickup for past shows. A car the whole way, through EDSA.

Manila's business districts and the hotels most visitors book.

The trade-off: It's the part of the city most visitors book, and it's on the wrong side of Manila for this venue.

Things that will catch you out

There's no train, and the new line won't be ready in time Affects getting home

Nothing on rail reaches the arena today. A commuter railway is being built past Bocaue, but the transport department's latest word (July 2026) is only that part of it opens sometime in 2027, starting with Malolos–Valenzuela. Don't plan a March trip around it.

Two exits for the whole complex Affects getting home

Philippine motoring and entertainment guides describe the grounds as having only two entry and two exit points. Attendees have reported taking at least two hours just to get out after concerts — that's reported by fans, not measured by us. For shows here the expressway operator, NLEX, has issued heavy-traffic advisories and told concertgoers to use the Ciudad de Victoria exit.

The shuttle is sold separately, and only to ticket holders Worth checking

For past Live Nation shows here, shuttle seats were sold through SM Tickets as round trips only, you needed your concert ticket ID to buy one, and seats weren't reserved. Buses back to both pickups waited in the NLET parking area after the show. The shuttles for BTS and Bruno Mars haven't been announced yet — watch Live Nation Philippines.

"Near the arena" listings are mostly rentals Worth checking

Search near the arena and the closest results are private resorts, villas and condo units, not hotels. If you book one, arrange how you'll get in after midnight before you pay.

What we could not verify yet

  • The 2027 shuttles. Everything we say about them comes from Live Nation's shuttles for past shows here (2023–2024). Pickup points, prices and return times for BTS and Bruno Mars haven't been announced.
  • Show times. Ticketing listings we could read don't give door or start times for either tour.
  • A Grab pickup point. We couldn't find one published for either venue, and the most recent statement we found that Grab doesn't serve the arena is from 2023.
  • Late buses to Manila from the NLET terminal inside the complex. Its published evening departures are to northern provinces.
  • How long leaving takes on the night. The two-hour figure is what attendees reported, not something we measured.
