Stevenage · Hertfordshire · Oasis, three weekends in September 2027
Where to stay for Oasis at Knebworth
Oasis play six nights at Knebworth Park, a Saturday and a Sunday on each of three weekends in September 2027. Camping is sold for the Saturdays only, and there are few hotels nearby.
Stay in Stevenage town centre if you can find a room. The station is a 55-minute stewarded walk from the arena, and the main hotels are near it.
Otherwise, stay in London and take the late train. Trains run from Stevenage to King's Cross until 01:30 after every show, £10 one way.
Don't stay north of Stevenage without a taxi booked. The late trains only go south.

What time does it finish?
Not published yet. Ticketmaster says full running times will be confirmed closer to the shows, with gates expected around 2pm. When Iron Maiden played here in July 2026, the curfew was 22:30.

Few rooms near the park
Booking.com lists six places to stay within 5 km of Knebworth House, for a crowd that comes back six nights running. Premier Inn's two Stevenage hotels aren't on Booking.com at all.
Start with Stevenage, and treat London as the realistic fallback: the late trains make it work.
Getting back after the show
On foot. Stevenage station is about 2 miles from the arena, which Ticketmaster puts at 55 minutes on a stewarded, lit path.
By train. After every Knebworth show, late trains run from Stevenage to London King's Cross between 23:30 and 01:30, about 30 minutes, capped at £10 one way for concert-goers. The outward journey is a separate ticket. The extra trains go to King's Cross only. Nothing extra has been announced going north, towards Hitchin, Letchworth, Cambridge or Peterborough.
By coach. Big Green Coach runs return coaches from 124 pick-up points in England and Wales, dropping you about five minutes' walk from the arena. After the show you have one hour to board.
By car. Ticketmaster: "We do not encourage you to arrive by car." It warns that traffic is heavy before and after, and that "long delays are to be expected". Parking hadn't gone on sale on 27 September 2026.
By taxi or ride app
- Uber. At Iron Maiden's show here in July 2026, Ubers could only use the on-site pick-up area.
- Local taxis. In 2026 a local firm, Boxall Taxis, ran a rank inside the same area.
Where pickups happen: Oasis hasn't published its arrangements. At the 2026 Iron Maiden show, pick-up and drop-off was a single area on site, reached from the A1(M) junction 7 northbound only, and the organisers said: "It is unsafe to attempt to be collected from any of the neighbouring roads or areas."
| To | Road distance | Rough fare |
|---|---|---|
| Stevenage station | 4.9 km (3.0 mi) | about £15 |
| Welwyn | 7.0 km (4.3 mi) | about £19 |
| Hitchin | 14.9 km (9.3 mi) | about £36 |
Rough fares use Stevenage Borough Council's night tariff for licensed taxis (October 2024 table: £5.78 for the first 528 yards, then £3.38 a mile) on road distances we measured, before waiting time and extras. Journeys leaving Stevenage can be priced by agreement, so ask the fare first. App prices change with demand after a show, so we don't list them.
- Expect the pick-up area to be the only place a car can collect you, as in 2026.
- When tens of thousands leave at once, waits get long. A pre-booked car or the late train is more predictable.

We don't list nightly rates here: prices for these dates change too quickly, so the link shows live prices instead. "Book direct" means the hotel isn't on Booking.com, so the link goes to its own site. We don't earn anything from those bookings. "Unchecked" means we couldn't confirm the reception hours — ask the property before you book if you'll be back late. Reception hours come from each property's own listing, checked on the date at the bottom of the page. They can change, so confirm with the property if you'll arrive late.
Each area in more detail
Stevenage town centre — Walk back or take the late train
The station, the shopping centre and the main hotels: Holiday Inn Express, Holiday Inn and Premier Inn Stevenage Central.
Suits: Anyone who wants to walk back after the show and sleep nearby.
Only a handful of hotels, all listed below.
London, King's Cross — The most rooms, on the late train
Thousands of rooms at every price, at the end of the line the late trains run on.
Suits: Anyone coming from abroad or further afield, and anyone who wants a real choice of hotels.
You still walk 55 minutes to Stevenage station first, and the late trains are £10 on top of your outward ticket.
Knebworth, Woolmer Green and Welwyn — Few rooms, taxi home
Villages just south of the park, with a few inns rather than hotels.
Suits: Anyone who's found a room and booked a taxi back.
Very few rooms, and the small inns may not have someone at reception late at night.
Hitchin and Letchworth — No late train north
Market towns north of Stevenage with more hotels than anywhere closer.
Suits: Drivers staying over, or anyone who's arranged a taxi back.
Looks close on a train map, but no extra trains run this way after the show.
The Campsite Village (Saturdays only) — Saturday shows only
Bring your own tent: £60 per person, Friday and Saturday nights, parking included.
Suits: Anyone going on a Saturday who doesn't mind a tent.
Not sold for the Sunday shows on 12, 19 and 26 September.
Things that will catch you out
No camping for the Sunday shows
Camping is sold for the Saturday shows only. If you're going on 12, 19 or 26 September, you need a room or the late train, and the next day is a Monday.
The late trains only go to London
The extra trains after the show run from Stevenage to King's Cross. Nothing extra has been announced going north, so a room in Hitchin or Letchworth means a taxi back.
The station is a 55-minute walk
Ticketmaster puts Stevenage station at about 2 miles and 55 minutes on a stewarded path. Book a room there and that's your walk back, with the crowd.
Cars can only collect you in one place
At the 2026 Iron Maiden show, taxis and Ubers could only pick up inside one on-site area, reached from the A1(M) northbound. Oasis's arrangements aren't published yet.
No under-14s
Ticketmaster: under-16s must be with an adult aged 18 or over, and no under-14s are allowed in.
Coaches wait one hour
Big Green Coach gives you one hour after the show to get back to your coach.
What we could not verify yet
- The Oasis finish time. It isn't published yet; the 22:30 curfew is from Iron Maiden's show here in July 2026.
- Whether the late trains stop anywhere between Stevenage and King's Cross.
- Taxi and rideshare arrangements for the Oasis shows. What's here is from the 2026 Iron Maiden show.
- Reception hours at most of the places listed. Where they're marked "Unchecked", ask before you book.
- Parking prices, which weren't on sale when we checked.
